At least you had the ___'s(?) to proclaim your situation (accident), one which could be viewed as embarassing, etc. How many guys have passed on the admission when they were similarly involved?? I'm not sure I'd have gone public, but since you did, that's not reason (reason?) to be set upon with gender as the main criteria. As evidenced by lots of responses to guys whining about their accidents, they get all sorts of sympathy, and very few zingers as to their "fault so shut up" etc. Happy trails....
